The Coedit grew out of a mutual passion to shop in a more considered way. After months of buying dramatically less and wearing the same outfits on rotation during the 2020 pandemic, female founders Hannah Jinkins and Victoria Binns realised that they were drawn to championing a new way to shop. The Coedit is an approach led by style and sustainability rather than impulse, and a destination that can inspire and share ways to make conscious change without judgement.
With over 10 years experience between them, Hannah and Victoria’s combined expertise in design, personal shopping and styling shapes the vision that we need to invest in our style as much as we invest in adding pieces to our wardrobes.
Having met whilst studying an Art & Design Foundation course at the University for the Creative Arts, Hannah and Victoria have been through many of life’s milestones together. Becoming mothers, and both raising daughters is a definitive catalyst in launching the brand as they’ve inspired Hannah and Victoria to want to create a more sustainable future for them.
Hannah’s design career launched following her studies at the prestigious Royal College of Art, where her graduate collection was stocked in LN-CC, and was worn by the likes of Arianna Grande, Saskia de Brauw, Leigh-Ann Pinnock and Kelly Harrington.
This collection also won her the renowned H&M Design Award, which saw her collaborate on a collection sold in a pop—up at the brand’s London flagship in Oxford Circus. Hannah has honed her design skills at various design studios, including Eudon Choi, E.Tautz and Blackhorse Lane Ateliers.
Victoria’s experience within the fashion industry has amassed a loyal and high profiled client base. Working primarily in the luxury sector since graduating, she has built a career upon her expertise in styling and personal shopping.
Having worked for a number of highly regarded premium and luxury brands, including Jimmy Choo and Mr. Porter, Victoria's resumé includes styling clients for high profile events, as well as writing and styling for magazines including the likes of i-D, Dazed and Confused and Pop Magazine.
